The Lp's I work with

Here are some pictures they're kind of old but I have some more recent ones to upload.
Tia and the cast at Kareoke night.
It didn't take the boys very long to discover my habit of playing with my ear, here Adam is demonstrating a dance they made up where they hold their ear and do the sprinkler.
Jana (aka Mrs. Clause) and lp's enjoying a day off at Hershey Park.
Back in the good old days when we had a little more time to do things. We went to the Spa in Hershey and had Whipped Cocoa baths and Cocoa Massages, best day ever!
Bowling in Rhode Island, the boys didn't hesitate to make fun of my technique.

Headed to the studio for rehearsal, this studio has been used by Billy Joel, Destiny's Child, Alicia Keys, and Earth, Wind, Fire.
This is all the LP's I work with plus two friends. From left to right there is me (of course), Pancho, Adam, Cindy, Matt, Jeff, and Keala (Kay-ah-la).

It's about time!

I'm so sorry that it's taken so long to blog. Life has been pretty crazy with rehearsal from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.. It was also hard updating my profile because I had no lap top or digital camera. After a few weeks on the job I was able to afford a new camera and MacBook (which I'm in love with). So where do I start? I am loving my job! I really feel comfortable on stage and get energized from the audiences applause. Opening night is a week from today! Eek! Today was our first dress rehearsal, my costume is huge and has a ton of layers. I look like a Keebler Elf/ Hiedi/ Wench/ Baker. I've nailed my lines, they had me go to a recording studio to make a track of my line instead of having me on mic. It took forever just to record my lousy two words I say "Finds you!". The people I work with are all different in so many ways. Dinner time is interesting because catering try's to satisfy everyone including the vegans and vegetarians. Tonight they offered a meatless meat loaf. Towards the end of the show Radio City does a live Nativity where all of the cast are in the scene and actual camels walk across the stage. Well today was the first day the camels were brought in and all of the cast was sent to the house while the animal trainers walked the camels across stage and through their parts. Could you blame us for being a bit nervous when they went crazy and attacked the stable and jumped all around the stage? I have some pictures to post but don't know how to do it yet. I hopefully will figure it out tonight. Just to let everyone know the people I work with drink quite often so don't be alarmed when you see that going on in my pictures I don't take part in any of that. Well until my next post, later!

Sorry

So life has been CRAZY! Between all day rehearsals and always being the designated driver it's been hard to update my profile. Payday is Thursday and when that comes I'm going to buy a lap top so I can upload all my new pictures. I am really loving my job! I look forward to work everyday. Yesterday was Audrey's birthday and I was having a hard time thinking of a gift to get her so, as I was pondering in Margaritaville, I'm Yours by Jason Mraz came on the screen and it came to me! Jason Mraz Tickets! So I purchased two tickets for Audrey and Kim to see him in concert on the 28th, Audrey and Kims reactions were so worth it! They're two of my best friends and deserve it! I love you guys!

40 Million Dollars!

Yep 40 million dollars! That's how much this production I'm in costs! It takes 31 diesel trucks (big rigs) to move all the equipment to each show. There are 290 people working for this show. Today was my first rehearsal and I'm finally starting to connect with the other little people. In the show there are only four little people cast Pancho, Matt, Adam, and me. Alicia is the swing which means she covers for anyone who gets sick or something. It's weirs it's just me and the guys. Matt is pretty quiet, Adam likes to boss me around, and Pancho is pretty cool I bet he'll become the ring leader. Alicia and me probably bond the most, she is so tiny. At rehearsal today we worked with a voice coach on singing and that was pretty embarrassing. It took me back to when me and Audrey would sing in church and Audrey would teasingly suggest I lip sinc. Afterward we worked with the choreographer who is officially my favorite person! He was so funny and would tease all of us. Adam and I worked with Santa today. Adams characters name is Skittle and mine is Jingle, yup JINGLE! Well I still don't have a camera but I'm working on it.

My adventure, Day 1

Oh my gosh! I am having so much fun! Yesterday I flew in to New York and took a taxi to my hotel. I met the little people I'm working with Adam, Matt, Alicia, and Pancho. I guess we hit it off because they are already teasing me and giving me a hard time especially about my disposable camera, we were walking down times square and they'd always turn back when they heard me wind it. I felt so cosmopolitan when I was dropped of at my hotel (in times square). Oh and they all call me either Pup or Rookie because I'm so young and the new comer to the show. I got a kick when the bellman asked me if I was here for business or pleasure, I was shocked to tell him bussiness this job is too fun to be a job. So I'm almost possitve that there will be some posts in the near future where I'm sad and homesick but for now life is amazing and I feel so richly blessed to have this oppurtunity. Sorry I have no pics to show you I need to buy a digital camera because someone (let's call them Audrey S.) broke my last one, he he! Oh my gosh I can hear and feel the subway pass under ther building, :-D

Hello Blog

NEW YORK CITY, HERE I COME!!

This is my first official post. Yay! Tomorrow morning I leave for New York City and start my national tour with Radio City. I'm so nervous. I've never been out on my own before and I'm traveling with adults and old people, yuck. I know I will probably get home sick. I don't get any time off, meaning NO holidays. I know that will be very difficult for me. Mitch gets home two weeks before I do. I think it will be ok, since we've gone two years, what's two more weeks? Even though it will be difficult, I am VERY excited about this opportunity... I think it will be a BLAST!! Anyway, I'd better finish up my packing. I look forward to posting more as this adventure unfolds. I'm happy that I'll have this blog to check up on what everyone else has been up to as well. Wish me luck!

I'm the third one on the left. ; )
